FLC welcomes Timothy Lam!
In 2013, Mr. Lam graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Studies. During his last year at SF State, Mr. Lam interned with the Federal Bureau of Investigations wherein he worked specifically with the gang and drug unit in San Francisco. This internship sparked his interest in pursuing a career as a federal agent which led him to attend law school.
Mr. Lam obtained his Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2016 with specializations in Litigation and Public Interest Law. While in law school, Mr. Lam received the Bernard E. Witkin Award in Legal Research and Writing, and he participated on the school’s mock trial team. He interned with the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office and worked as a law clerk for the San Mateo Superior Court.
Mr. Lam is experienced in, among other things, handling legal malpractice (plaintiff and defense), real estate malpractice, plaintiff’s personal injury claim, and family law matters. He started his legal career as a paralegal for a personal injury law firm in Sacramento County wherein he actively assisted in the pursuit of medical malpractice claims against various hospital entities.
From 2018 to 2020, Mr. Lam practiced family law, handling matters ranging from custody issues, support issues, community property division, and guardianships.
Prior to joining Fry Law Corporation, Mr. Lam worked for a mid-size law firm specializing in legal malpractice and real estate malpractice.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family either going to the zoo, museums, or taking his daughter to the local parks. He is an avid baseball fan and spends his Sundays playing baseball. On some nights, you may find him at the ballpark.
